Each funeral is different and unique in many ways, so is the price. I can give you a price range of what your funeral flowers will cost, but because the price of flowers varies so much, depending on flower variety, color, and even the time of year, it is best if we can visit, so I know exactly what flowers you need, and how many. From there I will check with my supplier for current flower prices.

Price of flowers- Every flower is priced differently. Will you be using luxury blooms like peonies, garden roses, dahlias, ranunculus or orchids or more common flowers like roses, carnations, and alstroemeria? Some flowers come with a higher price, others are lower in price.

Time of Year- During certain times of the year like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Memorial Day the price of flowers increase.

Amount of Flowers- Will you need one arrangement or several arrangements?

There are so many factors that contribute to the cost of funeral sprays. I take the time and have the knowledge to ensure that your loved one is honored. Educating yourself, and being open-minded when it comes to the cost, and design options when meeting with your florist is super beneficial. There’s no such thing as a bad budget, just a realistic budget. My job is to help you navigate how you can utilize your budget in the best way.

Traditional funeral flowers include lilies, roses, carnations and chrysanthemums, but any flowers can be used.

Common funeral arrangements include:

Casket sprays- Laid on top of the casket

Standing spray- Displayed on an easel

Wreaths- symbolizing eternal life

Vase arrangements or plant baskets- for display or to take home

Since there isn’t much time to plan for funeral flowers after a loved one has passed away. It is best to reach out to me as soon as possible. We can chat over the phone, or meet in person if you prefer. If you give me a few ideas of what your flower preferences are as well as the colors you prefer. I will send you ideas of funeral sprays for your approval. Then I will contact my floral supplier to see what they have on hand. I will stay in communication with you throughout the process. As soon as I know what is available I will let you know the final price.

We can meet in person or talk over the phone about your floral preference, colors and theme. We’ll review photos, color palettes, and budget.

Proposal and details- Soon after the consultation

I will go over everything we discussed in our consultation, reach out to my suppliers and let you know what they have on hand. Including specific flowers. I will write everything out and send you a proposal with all the details including the final price.

This is the time to make any adjustments or updates to the original plan. The amount in full will be due at this time.

Preparation and arrangements- The day before the funeral

The flowers are carefully sourced, prepared, and arranged to perfection. Every detail is thoughtfully handled to ensure the arrangements reflect your loved one.

Delivery and setup- day of the funeral

Your funeral flowers will be delivered and set up at the funeral home, ensuring everything is perfect.

Yes I have a $100 minimum. This is the average cost of a small vase or basket arrangement.

Yes! I have been a florist for 25+ years, I can let you know what flowers come in what colors and what season they are available! I’m also pretty good at color tinting!
